Melissa DiMarco is a strong force in the entertainment business with a career spanning a decade. Her background as a skilled producer and entertainment journalist has enabled her to foster strong working relationships with industry professionals. Since 1996, Melissa has been Story Producer and Host of the hit entertainment program Nite Life. She is responsible for the day-to-day decisions of her shows ensuring they go to air completed, from producing, hosting, interviewing and writing to scheduling, shooting and post-production. She has gained a reputation for attracting big stars from Tom Cruise, Michael Douglas, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Bruce Willis and John Travolta. She was Story Producer and Co-Host for two seasons of Jump Cut, for which she was recognized for her contributions to the cutting-edge, award-winning magazine show. Melissa also produced and directed the docudrama The Critical Eye and the short The Mirage of Change. Melissa is a graduate of York University's Fine Arts Program, Dean's Honour Roll. She is also a qualified member of the Canadian Association of Journalist, the Academy of Canadian Cinema and ACTRA.
Melissa DiMarco has a strong fan base as both the face and force behind Out There. She is also a series lead on the award-winning drama “Degrassi – The Next Generation” which is viewed in over 43 million American households and in over 150 countries in syndication.
Melissa DiMarco also starred opposite Tom Sizemore in the movie Hustle- The Pete Rose Story, directed by legendary filmmaker Peter Bogdanovich. And she guest-starred on the Kojak series with Ving Rhames. You can hearher in the family comedy feature film Bailey – starring the voice of Jon Lovitz as Bailey and Melissa DiMarco as the voice of Tessa. Melissa DiMarco also hit the big screen as the female lead in the feature film comedy Red Green Duct Tape Forever and appeared in the feature film, Death to Smoochy, directed by Danny DeVito, starring Robin Williams and Ed Norton. |
